About Wade:

I have been in youth ministry since December of 1994 and with the Vineyard of Licking County (renamed Alive Vineyard, 2012) since its inception in August of 1999. I am a long time youth veteran. For me, working in youth ministry is a calling, not a job or responsibility. The average youth pastor last approximately 18 months according to a recent survey. I contribute my longevity to not taking everything too serious and that because I love working with young people. Youth ministry is not a stepping stone into other ministry.

I grew up in the Hebron area and is am a graduate of Lakewood High School. After high school, Wade attended Ohio Northern University where I earned a B.S. in Pharmacy. I am currently practicing pharmacy at Arensberg Pharmacy in Hebron. In 2003, I successfully completed the Vineyard Leadership Institute and was ordained by the Vineyard of Licking County a short time later. My long term goal is to be in full time ministry to youth and young adults.

Alive Vineyard

We are all on a life-long journey toward God – hopefully one that can be as rewarding and exciting! Nothing can be compared to the joy of encountering a REAL God. One dramatic truth we’ve discovered along the way is that God, our Heavenly Father, is actively searching for us as well! We believe the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth is God’s fullest expression of His Father love for us.

In Vineyard churches, we value people more than programs. We are a place where all are welcome: true believers along with the curious, the skeptical, the seeking, the wounded and the disillusioned. We believe God is the giver of new hope and life and loves to give us second chances. We want our church to reflect these values in all we say & do. Come join us as we continue our passionate pursuit toward Him.
